So, book in a self-pamper day in the comfort of your own home and treat yourself and your skin to a much deserved facial! Here’s our step by step guide on how to give yourself a DIY spa-like facial.
Step 1: Double cleanse
Prepping the skin for a facial is just as important as you want to start with a clean palette! The cleaner the skin, the easier the products will be able to deeply penetrate the skin and work effectively.
What to use: An oil-based cleanser works perfectly to gently remove impurities, makeup and pollutants, whilst providing calming and nourishing properties.

Step 2: Mask
Now that your skin is cleansed it’s time for a treatment mask! Choose your face mask based on what skin concern you want to target, here’s some of our favourite masks we like to use and their specific uses:

Step 3: Steam
Fill up a bowl with hot water and fill it will essential oils or slices of lemon to take your steam sesh to a whole other level of calm! Position your face over the bowl and place a towel over your head to reap the benefits of steaming.
Step 4: Moisturize
Once you’ve removed your mask with a warm cloth finish your treatment with a rich moisturiser to seal in all the benefits. Spend the time to massage the moisturiser into your face for about 1 – 2 minutes as this helps to improve circulation and lymphatic flow allowing your products to penetrate the skin effectively. To get that spa like feel begin at the chin and begin to stroke upwards in lifting motions, repeat this step on all the other areas of the face.
